This review of ours is based on 6 years of usage. We first registered an hosting account with them in 2004 for an College website. Then our accounts kept growing.
Here is our experience with them.
In terms of pricing I would give them 5 stars (Starting from 24$ !!!)
With regards to customer service I give them 3.5 stars (No live chat available for Support). Sometimes response are very late. And sometimes they are not able to fix problem. It so happened that there was once an Frontpage extension error which caused my client’s whole site to down for 5 day, and they were not able to fix it.
DMCA violation – Once one of my client had some classifieds ads copies from other websites. This led to DMCA violation complaint from the other party, and cyberultra without any prior notification shutdown the website.
We are still hosting a no. of websites with cyberultra and to tell the fact their shared servers are very less monitered and hence most of the actions by clients like spamming, running spiders are not monitered and stopped.
Downtime – (3 Star) – 3 times a day is the minimum downtime you experience with cyberultra. Some of my clients who need the website for more than web presence requested us for a shift to better once.
