Enabling SIP call on Nokia E72 through Nimbuzz; Setup SIP calls settings for Nimbuzz

Who does not want to make cheap calls to their loved ones. VoIP is the way to go.

Enabling SIP on E71 was easy where one can make a SIP call like a normal call. (see article)

However, SIP call through E72 can be done through 2 ways:

1. Through the SIP call software from the service provider (see article)
2. Other through Nimbuzz as follows.

Download Nimbuzz and install on you phone.
Then register with Nimbuzz.

Before you go ahead, you should have an account with one of the VoIP service providers.

After registering, enter the following setting in Nimbuzz

Go to Options > Settings > SIP providers > Others (Last icon)
Enter as follows:

Username : userid@sip.voIPproviderName.com
Password : XXXXX
Proxy : sip.voIPproviderName.com

Press save.

Then again go to Options > Settings > VoIP providers Settings > VoIP provider > SIP.

Go your Contacts. Select and make SIP call (do not make GSM call).

Note: You need to add the no. to your contacts list before you can make contact.
