Like istore is for Apple, OVI store is for Nokia users.

Using ovi app to download apps for my E71 I faced the problem of the program connecting to internet through my Network provider instead of the wifi connection I am using at home. Downloading apps through network providers can be costly affair. I went into the settings of the ovi store program to change the connection settings, there was no option to change the settings.

Then it occured to me to change the connection settings in the web explorer and this inturn change the connecting setting in ovi program also.

Goto Web explorer > Options > Settings > General > Access Point > Always ask.
